The outdoor spaces are what make Moon Dance Casita feel truly special. A covered patio just outside the living area includes a Blackstone flat-top griddle, outdoor dining table, and oversized lounge seating perfect for slow mornings with coffee or relaxed dinners outside. Nearby, the private brick patio features a hard-top two-person hot tub ideal for stargazing after a day exploring the desert. Additional lounge areas, native cactus gardens, and solar-lit walking paths create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. Yard games and outdoor dining essentials are also available for guests to enjoy.
Living Space & Kitchen
Inside, the casita combines comfort with functionality in a warm desert-inspired setting. The open-concept living and kitchen area includes a reclining loveseat, streaming TV, high-speed WiFi, and a convertible coffee table that doubles as a dining or workspace setup for remote work stays. The fully stocked kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, electric oven and range, microwave, drip coffee maker with single-cup Keurig option, electric tea kettle, cookware, baking supplies, glassware, grilling utensils, and thoughtfully stocked cooking essentials.
Sleeping Arrangements
The bedroom features a plush king-size bed with premium bedding designed for restful nights after long desert days. Guests will also find luggage racks, device charging options, luxury touches throughout, and a mini-split heating and cooling system for year-round comfort. The spacious bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and stacked washer and dryer for added convenience during longer stays.
The Location
Located in Oro Valley near the base of the Tortolita Mountains, the casita offers easy access to some of Southern Arizona’s best outdoor recreation. Explore nearby hiking trails at Tortolita Mountain Park and Catalina State Park, bike sections of Tucson’s famous Loop trail system, or spend the afternoon at the Sonoran Desert Museum or Saguaro National Park West. Several well-known golf courses, including Omni Tucson National and El Conquistador Golf Club, are also nearby, along with local restaurants, breweries, and shopping centers.
Parking is limited to 1 vehicle. After unloading, guests are asked to park in the designated Laguna Gardens parking spaces.
Moon Dance Casita is not pet-friendly.
Please note there is a separate main home located on the property that may also be rented during your stay. The casita maintains its own private outdoor areas, hot tub, patios, and entrances for guest privacy.
